Salvation is through Faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ

evang1017501_1558564571046464_4701217927082009122_n

Many people who claim to be Christians base their belief upon assenting to the fact that Jesus Christ existed and died and rose again from the dead BUT scriptures tell us that even the devil believes this so what exactly does it mean to be saved from sin and become the recipient of eternal life? According to the Bible under the law if you sinned you had to bring a sacrifice of the death of certain animals and the bloodshed brought you remission of your sin. This was because the wages of sin is death. Someone innocent had to pay the price for your sin, if not you then a substitute for you, on your behalf. The blood that was shed satisfied the requirements of the law of God; a life for a life.

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22

The Bible tells us that Jesus shed his blood on our behalf. In order to have this sacrifice applied to us we must believe in what Jesus did and not just who he was. You can believe in the trinity, the deity of Christ, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and still not be saved. What needs to happen in order for salvation to occur is that you must have a revelation of the shed blood of Jesus and faith in his blood to cleanse you from sin and keep you cleansed from sin.

Paul asserts that the Galatians believed in Jesus according to the law but not in grace. In other words the Galatians believed in the death and resurrection and even deity of Jesus Christ BUT they did not have faith in the blood of Jesus to save them completely. They wanted to remain under the law and be saved too but it does not work that way. The Bible specifically says that salvation is attained by having FAITH IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. This means that we must believe that the blood of Jesus Christ alone atones for sin, without adding anything to it.

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God  Romans 3:25

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14

If you are trusting in your good deeds, the works of the law, morality, ethics, to save you as well as believing in who Jesus is then you have no salvation. In order to be saved you must completely and totally have faith in the blood of Jesus alone to save you AND to keep you saved.  Let me show you exactly why this is so.

First of all faith in the blood of Jesus alone JUSTIFIES. This means to be declared righteous or in right standing before God. Works of any kind even keeping the Ten Commandments will not justify you. (Not that any could keep them in their entirety in thought and deed anyway)

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9

The blood of Jesus washes and cleanses from our sins, continually. In other words instead of running to the of sacrificial system and killing an animal sacrifice every time we blow it, we can confess the sin to Jesus ask for the help of his Holy Spirit in giving you victory over the sin and he will forgive and cleanse. He died once for sin. IT IS FINNISHED!

Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood Rev. 1:5

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Salvation is attainted through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ alone apart from the deeds of the law. In other words when we have faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God saves us from his wrath and from hell fire. He gives us eternal life based on his sacrificial gift without adding anything to it.  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9

Not only does faith in the blood of Jesus save you but faith in the blood of Jesus will also give you victory over sin and the devil! This is because the blood of Jesus is continually working on our behalf. What was accomplished at Calvary is a onetime event BUT that event is still working on our behalf to sanctify us! How? The blood of Jesus allows us continual access to God’s throne to receive from him all the help we need to live a life that pleases him in this earth!

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Hebrews 10:19 And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Revelation 1:5

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11

The Preserved Saints

Let us take a look at the characters in the New Testament who fell away from God.

Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus.

Do scriptures tell us that Judas was a real believer? No! In fact Jesus said that he was a thief.  He loved money! He was greedy for gain like some believers today that follow Jesus just to get “blessed” with money. Judas Iscariot betrayed the Lord with a kiss. What does this tell you? That he was two faced! Judas could sit and sup with Jesus and watch all the miracles but all he had on his mind was the money that could be made from hanging around Jesus!

“No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” Mathew 6:24

Demas who left Paul.

Was this guy a real Christian? NO! Demas loved this present world and what does the bible say about those who love the world? That God’s love is not in him or in other words he is not saved.

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” 1 John 2:10

Hymenaeus and Alexander

Paul says that they were blasphemers. Are blasphemers true Christians? I don’t think so! When one teaches things contrary to scriptures then they are blaspheming. They were turned over to Satan because they did not love the truth. What does the Bible say about those who do not love the truth? They don’t have the truth!

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10

Who does the Bible say are preserved and kept until the end? The true born again Christian and God knows who are really his. Let’s take a look at what the Bible says about the preserving of the saints.

Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. Jude 1:1, 2

Preserved in the Greek is tereo which means to attend to carefully, take care of, guard, keep safe, protect.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I Thessalonians .” 5:23

Sanctified in the Greek is hagiazō –consecrated and set apart for God.

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.  Jude 1:24,

Is able in the Greek is- dynamai- to be capable, strong and powerful

Keep in the Greek is  – phylassō – to guard a person (or thing) that he may remain safe, to guard from being lost or perishing, to keep from being snatched away, preserve safe and unimpaired

From falling in the Greek- aptaistos – exempt from falling

To present you in the Greek is – histēmi- to cause or make to stand, to place, put, set, to make firm, fix establish

Faultless in the Greek is – amōmos- morally: without blemish, faultless, unblameable

Before the presence in the Greek is-  katenōpion- before God as judge

of his- glory in the Greek is – doxa- opinion, judgment, view, magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace

So as you can see brethren, those who fall away from Jesus are those who are not saved in the first place. Those who are born of God overcome the world and the wicked one cannot touch them for God preserves them and keeps them from falling even unto the end!

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”  1 John 5:4

We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.” 1 John 5:18

Knowing the True from the False

The Gospel of Grace Ministries with KIM BALOGH

When we have received Jesus Christ as Saviour we will also then recieve him as Lord. If Jesus is not Lord of our lives and we are not becoming by the working of the Holy Spirit, slaves to righteousness as the bible teaches, then our salvation is not true salvation but a counterfeit. The Bible teaches that there are false brethren, false teachers, and false prophets. All these confess Jesus and some may even believe in his saving power but unless there is fruit consistent with biblical teaching in a person’s life the conversion may actually be a false one, or in other words, a counterfeit.

Let us examine what counterfeit means exactly. A counterfeit is a fake replica of the real thing. An imitator, a copy of, false and pretentious. How can we know the false from the true ? Well, it can be actually very hard sometimes to tell until the harvest. Jesus said, “Let both grow together until the harvest and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Mark 4:30

Of course we know that cults are false but did you know that sitting in churches are false brethren? Even whole ministries can be false. Is there a way to tell? Jesus did tell us a few things that we can do….test, prove, examine, and judge but even then sometimes we have to wait until we stand before God’s throne one day to know some false brethren out there because they are imitators. They look and act like Christians but God knows the hearts of all people and he knows the true motivation of all.

While we are saved by grace through faith we must according to the Bible bare fruit of the righteousness of Christ in our lives who is the hope of glory that dwells within the born again new creature in Christ. That is we will be walking like Jesus, and we need only to read the Bible to find out what that all requires.

If there is one thing that a fake Christian cannot do is imitate true humility. Satan hates it! Now false humility is another thing, but even that can be seen when it elevates the ego. You see the Bible tells us that Jesus humbled himself and became a servant even unto death. He lived his whole life to give and even though he was God he made himself of no reputation. That is he took a low position in life! Now how much of that do you hear preached in churches today from all the power seeking ego displaying money grubbing exploiters behind some pulpits?

Paul said that every day he died to self……he died to his pride, his ego, his reputation, his very love of his own life, for the sake of proclaiming Jesus Christ. You see the root of all sin is pride. What exactly is pride? According to the dictionary it means “a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one’s own achievements. ”

Satan fell because of pride and all his seed in the sin nature have the same problem. They are full of themselves! Pride in the heart is a sure fired way to spot false brethren. The true Christian who really knows the Lord will be a servant. That is one who lives to serve others. Now that may be done in different ways but by the Same Spirit of Christ. Those who seek to be justified by their works are also in pride for they distain the righteousness of Christ and prefer their own! What EGO !

The Bible tells us to test the person! Do you see a big fat ego? Someone who is showy, likes to display themselves, is a numbers person, out for kudos, likes a big name, gives long pious men pleasing prayers and sermons? Demonstrates showmanship, wears flashy expensive cloths, has to be known by a title, builds big mansions and lives like a king in this world….this is all anti Christ or non Christ like behavior! A false brethren, simple as that! Do you think that I am judging? Yes, I am ! Scriptures tell me to judge righteous judgment and make sure there is no beam in my eye when I do it !

Every day Kim is confronted with her ego that has to be taken to the cross! Every day I have to die to what I want and bend my knee to my master Jesus and submit to his will instead of having my own way. This is not an easy thing but you see the born again Christian has Christ living in them and this life which is lived in the flesh is lived by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave his life for us. This mind of selflessness which is in Christ Jesus is in the true Christian and that is what separates the true from the false. The false can never imitate Christ’s humility because the false is full 0f the sin nature which is rooted in pride.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11

“Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; prove your own selves. Know you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are counterfeits?” 2 Corinthians 13:5

God’s Transforming Power is By the Holy Spirit.

4492272055_c4390a8cb3_o[1]

If we are relying on our own efforts to be transformed into the image of Christ we are in false doctrine. Turning over a new leaf is not sanctification. Rather sanctification is both a now experience as in we are made perfect in Christ because of the work of our Lord in the atoning sacrifice of his body and shed blood and also an ongoing transformation experience. Some Christians today are following new age self help principles and adding the name of Jesus to these humanistic self efforts.

The historic protestant reformation not only opposed the abuse of power in the church and idolatry but also the works orientated gospel. It is very important to understand that if you are trying to win God’s approval by behavior that is self exalting, self abasing, and self initiated then you have fallen from grace and are not going to be included in the elect who have been given eternal life. Let us take a look at what the bible says about being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. (growing in his character)

Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God THROUGH JESUS CHRIST THE LORD. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:13-25

First of all we need to acknowledge our inability to perform. When we do this then God will come on the scene and assist us with HIS POWER and not our own ability to live a life that pleases God. For all human endeavors have self orientated motives and are not acceptable to God. In fact they are what scriptures call DEAD WORKS! Dead works, then, are works of the flesh (man made)but godly works are wrought by the Holy Spirit through yielded vessels.

My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. (See: 2 Corinthians 12:9).

Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10

So then transformation in A WORK OF GOD wrought by his (dumanis)power if we really belong to Jesus. Those going about in the flesh trying to subdue the flesh are false brethren who operate in a false spirit and preach a false humanist gospel.

Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.” But from these he repented when he turned from self to Christ, and, casting away all confidence in legal righteousness, he could exclaim: “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.Philippians 3:4-6

Fruits of Righteousness

Fruits of righteousness are the working of Christ within us. They come from Christ, and not from our own selves.

Hosea 14:8, From me is thy fruit found. Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

Philippians 1:11,  Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which ARE BY Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Romans 7:18,   For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwells no good thing: Nevertheless, God has chosen to work His good works through us.

God has chosen to use his people as His vessels  for bearing his fruit. These Spirit produced fruits are works of righteousness that  are the working of His Grace and do not originate from our own ability.

Therefore, all the glory and praise and credit for those works should go to Him; the excellency of the power is of God, and not of us  2Corinthians 4:7

The power or ability to do good works come from the Holy Spirit who dwells in the vessel by his grace. There is no good thing that dwells in us as Paul says. In us dwells no good thing Romans 7:18

Each good work is actually a  gift from the LORD given  through uis to bless others.

Ecclesiastes 3:12,13  I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.

God ordains us to bear the fruits of righteousness that he wants each of us to bear. True Christians are the vessels that God uses to pour forth his Spirit to  minister his mercy and grace to others.

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit John 12:23, 24

You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16

True Salvation is evident by the bearing of fruit in our lives. We are not saved by bearing fruit, but if we are truly saved then the fruits of righteousness will be evident in our life.

Hosea 14:8 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do anymore with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

Bearing fruit is the result of first hearing God’s word and then walking in the word which has been revealed to us.

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth. Colossians 1:5,6

Being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:11

The saints are called “trees of righteousness” in Isaiah 61:3.

How does a Christian bring forth fruit?

He brings forth fruit in the vine. By nature we are barren producing no life. There is not one good thing growing in us  but when by faith in the gospel we are engrafted into Christ, then we will grow and bear fruit. John 15:4: “Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.”

Jesus Christ is that blessed Root which shoots up that sap of grace into His branches.

Solomon 5:1: “I have gathered My myrrh with My spice.”

Jesus does not say, “your myrrh,” but “My myrrh.”

If we bear any spiritual fruit in our lives it is Christ’s myrrh ,his sweet smelling sacrifice.

Hosea 14:8: “From Me is your fruit found.”

The Christian brings forth the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, and faith, meekness, temperance.Galatians 5:22

When we are  set free from the law of sin and death we are under a new law, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This law is of faith and not of self righteous deeds.

Romans 6:14, “You are not under law but under grace”.

Therefore glorify God in your vessels, as vessels of honour unto holiness, which comes by abiding continually in the vine and producing fruits of righteousness.

Sanctification Process.

So many times Christians will say , I have to give up…I have to die…I HAVE TO BE GOOD..I MUST CRUCIFY MY FLESH. All these I’S are alot of self! If you could not save yourself what makes you think that you can sanctify yourself? What does the bible teach on sanctification?

Sanctification, is the progress towards holiness or spiritual growth. Sanctification begins at our salvation and it is fullfilled at our glorification. The bible says that we are justified or declared righteous at our salvation but we are glorified, made fully righteous or perfect when we see the Lord Jesus Christ face to face. In the meantime we are being progressively sanctified, that is, we are progressively being separated from sin unto Christ. How is this done? Jesus said…THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!

No where does the bible tell you to change yourself…..but the scriptures do say, prayer, meditation on the word, and the power of the Holy Spirit to perfrom Gods will. Simple equation. God, God and God! No self effort involved!

“Sanctify them in the truth: thy word is truth.” John 17:17

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4:4

There is no sanctifying power in human ability. There is no sanctifying power in human wisdom, there is no sanctifying power in human experience it is only through the Scriptures by the power of the Holy Spirit. Only God’s truth sanctifies as Christians walk in the truth of God’s word that they are changed from one degree of God’s glory into another.

“They word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee”, says David in the psalms.

The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to do His work within the born again Christian.

“Now are you clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” John 15:3.

‘But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” II Corinthians 3:18

Friends, read the scriptures, meditate on the scriptures and pray the scriptures for that is the only way to become Christ like in character. All self effort will ony lead to failure…again and again!

Kim

Psalm 1

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish

“Now are you clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” John 15:3.

JESUS CAME TO DEFEAT THE POWER OF SIN

Therefore,He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25

The word SAVED means to be delivered from any kind of evil but when  SAVED is used in regard to God’s salvation it’s true meaning is deliverance and preservation from all the consequences of sin. In this sense SAVED means to be delivered and preserved from the penalty of sin and the power of sin.

The angel of the Lord told Joseph, “…And you shall call His name JESUS: for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) Notice the  word is SINS.(plural) Jesus not only saves from the penalty of SIN but He saves us from the particular SINS that hold us in their bondage. Jesus said, “… whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” John 8:34

Jesus went on to say, “Therefore If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36. When Jesus saves, He breaks the power of sin, Satan, and demons. The saved sinner now has the power to say “no” to the things they should not do and “yes” to the things they should. Jesus saves from the power of sin.

Psalms 110:4 “The LORD hath sworn, and will not relent, You are a priest forever according the order of Melchizadek.” As the Great High Priest Jesus is able to save lost souls from the curse of the law and bring them into the family of God.

Hebrews speaks of this priestly sacrifice: “…when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” In Hebrews 2:9 we read the reason for His coming: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that He by the grace of God might taste death for everyone.” Peter referred to this sacrifice in I Peter 2:24 when he wrote, “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree” And again, “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God…” I Peter 3:18.

Who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised because of our justification.” Romans 4:25. (See also 1st Corinthians 15:l7)
When Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice for our sin His body was laid in a grave. When He came forth the third day this was the divine authentication that God the Father had accepted His sacrifice. Each one of us can be sure that Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for our sin has satisfied the Father.

Jesus Is The Intercessor Between God and Man

“…Since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:35

Intercession means: “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Who died, and furthermore is also risen, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.” Romans 8:34

“My little children, these things I write to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous: and He Himself is the propitiation (sacrifice) for our sins…” 1st John 2: 1,:2a.

“…the accuser of our brethren, who accuses them before our God day and night have been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:10b, 11.

“Who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”—Galatians 1:4,-5.

(Col 1:12-14) Giving thanks unto the Father, which HAS MADE us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who HAS delivered us from the power of darkness, and HAS translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we HAVE redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

How do you recieve deliverance from sin? BY FAITH AND NOT THE WORKS OF THE LAW!

Jesus came to set us free from sin today, tommorrow and every day! JESUS IS THE KEEPER OF YOUR SOUL! He has promised and is faithful to keep his promise!

If we are baptized into Christ WE HAVE put on Christ. So now we are in the Spirit and in newness of life!

We ARE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST…..RECKON YOURSELVES DEAD WITH HIM! DEAD TO SIN BUT ALIVE TO GOD! HOW??? by faith! IT IS A DONE DEAL. WALK IN IT! YEILD MEANS TO SURRENDER, GIVE UP STRIVING, GIVE UP SELF EFFORT, GIVE UP WORKS, AND LET GO AND LET GOD BE YOUR SAVIOUR FROM SIN!

PRAY GOD’S WORD, AND LIVE GOD’S WORD! THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WILL KEEP YOU AND PERSERVE YOU UNTO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM.

YOU ARE NO LONGER A SERVANT OF SIN BUT A SERVANT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

ROMANS 6 …NO LAW KEEPING….JUST GRACE.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

FOR HE THAT IS DEAD IS FREE FROM SIN!!! Sin no longer has dominion(rule) over us !

“Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

FOR SIN SHALL NOT HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
