Did you know that the WORDLESS BOOK is a very effective way to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children?
•Children learn from the Wordless Book about sin and its evil effects on mankind. Because all people have sinned, they have fallen short of God’s glory. Romans 3:23
• Children learn that Jesus became a sacrifice to die in our place for our sins. I Cor. 15:3, 4 “Christ died for our sins, that He was buried and that He was raised to life three days later.”
• Children learn that Jesus shed his blood at Calvary to take away our sins and cleanse us from all wrong doing. Isaiah 1:18 “Come on now, let’s discuss this!” says the LORD. “Though your sins are bright red, they will become as white as snow. Though they are dark red, they will become as white as wool.”
• Children learn that Jesus gives eternal life to those who trust in his salvation. “Don’t be troubled. Believe in God, and believe in me. My Father’s house has many rooms. If that were not true, would I have told you that I’m going to prepare a place for you? If I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again. Then I will bring you into my presence so that you will be where I am.”
• Children learn that once they receive Jesus as their Savior they must grow in him by reading the Bible, fellowshipping with other Christians and spending time in prayer. “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
